Administration shill, the National Security Advisor, was interviewed by PBS's Judy Woodruff yesterday. Rice made several face-palm-worthy comments, and it took Woodruff a moment to re-ask the unanswered question.
On the critical issue of whether the House Select Committee will discover "more" information than the White House has disclosed, Rice answered:
Dang if I know. I mean honestly.
The administration has produced, I think, 25,000 pages of documents or 25,000 individual documents. They've supported, participated in, contributed to the investigations of, you know, seven, I think, different committees.
We've had an accountability review board by a very distinguished group of outsiders.
So, there you have it. Thousands of pages of paper, tons of support/participation/contribution, and a very elite few have given a thumbs up, so we're pretty much all good with nothing left to do! In case you were counting, she also said "um" twenty-one times while giving this explanation.
As you would expect, the real focus and agenda is not to look back on the "Sunday shows and talking points" but to protect Americans in the future. Because at this point, this is the difference it can make.
Of course, for that she needs four billion six-hundred thousand dollars. Notice she says "um" zero times while asking for the money — because this is something she really believes in...
