No one can ever accuse Porterville mayor Cameron Hamilton of being too politically correct. The California office holder had a rather... "unorthodox" suggestion for those who feel singled out as victims of bullying.
While debating proposed "Safe Zones" where children can seek help if they are being bullied, Hamilton said that sometimes kids just need to "grow a pair and stick up for them damn selves," according to The Washington Times.
A councilwoman suggested that might be a hard thing for a 10 year-old little girl to do. The mayor's "no" vote was the only vote against the proposal.
What do you think?
