Linda and her son Timmy share a genetic condition called Holt-Oram, which resulted in their being born without arms, as well as suffering some heart problems.
In fact, when Linda became pregnant with Timmy, she and her husband were warned that he may inherit her condition. When given this news, the couple refused to abort the baby and insisted that he would live a normal, healthy and happy life, just like any other child.
Over the past few years, both mother and son have adapted marvelously well, using their feet for nearly everything in their completely unmodified home. And while Timmy works on sports stardom at school, Linda takes business classes to prepare for creating a non-profit to help families like her own.
After meeting Linda and Timmy, one thing becomes clear: A disability - and likely anything else - can’t hold this family back.
