Not surprisingly, San Bernardino was among the top trending topics on Twitter Wednesday. Two particular threads, amongst the hundreds of thousands of tweets related to the shooting, are worthy of note.

The first is from Democrat leaders, who all seemed to follow one train of thought:

The second theme of tweets were those blaming the Republican party and its support of the Second Amendment.

Here are a few notables:

FBI agents have now descended upon a house in Redlands, a city in San Bernardino County. Director of Los Angeles Field Office David Bowdich told KTLA:

“We don’t know the contents of what’s in that house, but previous active-shooter incidents have shown us there are times when devices are left behind,” Bowdich said at an evening news conference, referring to possible explosives. “We certainly are going to proceed very cautiously into that house, to preserve life and limb of our employees.”

In total, 14 individuals have been confirmed dead in the attacks, with another 17 individuals wounded. Police are still investigating as this is considered to be an active situation.

It was recently released that the names of one of the suspects in the Bernardino shooting is Syed Farook. The motive for the deadly attack is still unknown.
