While courting Evangelical voters at Liberty University, a Christian university in Lynchburg, Virginia, 2016 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump brought up a very peculiar name for a Bible verse.

In his speech, Trump said:

“I hear this a is a major theme right here... but 2 Corinthians, right? 2 Corinthians 3 17. That's the whole ballgame. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. And here, there is liberty.”

The verse Trump quoted is referred to as Second Corinthians, and news outlets and Twitter users were quick to comment:

While the gaffe inspired laughter by those attending and ridicule online, The Blaze reports that Trump received a standing ovation at the end of his speech.
