Doritos unveiled a silly ad during the Super Bowl tonight. It's pretty light-hearted.
A mom-to-be is exasperated with her husband, who's munching on Doritos during an ultrasound. Suddenly the baby starts reaching for Dad's chips from inside the womb, which doesn't sit well with Mom.
So she grabs the chips and tosses them. Unfortunately, the baby lunges for them and, well....Let's just say the birth happens sooner than expected.
Dumb? Kinda. Funny? Sure.
Cause for an all-out flame war started by abortion rights activists? Didn't really see that coming.
But that's exactly what happened when the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) spotted the ad:
Yes, they're upset that the ad “humanized” the fetus.
Well, to put it mildly, Americans weren't buying into NARAL's argument.
