And Simone Biles secured her spot in history once again by earning her fourth Olympic Gold medal in the floor event final. This medal makes Biles the fourth female gymnast ever to win four gold medals in a single Olympic games.

Her teammate, Aly Raisman, was the reigning Olympic floor champion in 2012 and earned her third Rio Olympic medal after coming in second with a score of 15.500.

This silver medal is Raisman's sixth total Olympic medal, including the three she won in London in 2012. These six medals make her the second most decorated American gymnasts of all time, behind Shannon Miller.
