Exclusive IJR-Google Poll Shows the Victory in Last Night's Presidential Debate Goes to...Hillary Clinton

Now that the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is over, another debate has begun — and shows no signs of ending anytime soon: Who won? From political pundits, to non-scientific online polls, to social media, opinions are varied.
In a poll conducted for Independent Journal Review by Google Consumer Surveys, respondents were asked the following questions.
Who won the debate? Hillary, by four points:

Should third-party candidates Jill Stein, Gary Johnson, and/or Evan McMullin been included? More than 6 of 10 respondents said “no”:

As of today, which candidate do you support? Donald Trump, by a hair:

Which candidate was most honest during the debate? Again, Trump by a hair:

The survey was conducted nationwide among 1,304 likely voters who watched some or all of the debate.

And so it went. Close opinion poll results. Emotionally-driven comments across the board. It will be interesting to see whether either candidate gets a bump in the presidential polls over the next few days. But one thing is certain: the wild ride is far from over.
