On Friday, Green Bay Packers tight end Jared Cook tweeted out a picture of a wing he received in his Buffalo Wild Wings order.
But Cook didn't just receive a wing or a leg in his order. No, he was served a fried chicken head:
And the people of Twitter freaked out:
Cook reassured his followers that the photograph is very real:
According to For The Win, Buffalo Wild Wings released a statement saying it's currently looking into the situation:
“Buffalo Wild Wings takes food preparation, service and quality extremely seriously and we are looking into this situation. We’ve reached out to Jared Cook and our suppliers for more information.”
A quick search reveals that Buffalo Wild Wings isn't the only chain to accidentally serve up a crispy chicken head. McDonald's and a restaurant in France called Quick have both reportedly served customers the disturbing chicken parts. They are apparently a delicacy in Vietnam.
Yep, we'll be sticking to Chick-fil-A from now on.
