Donald Trump was met with raucous cheers at a rally appearance in New Hampshire minutes after the FBI announced it would be taking a new look at its probe into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server during her time at the State Department.
Amid the swing state crowd's cheers to “lock her up,” he said:
“I have great respect for the fact that the FBI and the Department of Justice are now willing to have the courage to right the horrible mistake that they have made. This was a grave miscarriage of justice that the American people fully understood, and it is everybody’s hope that it is about to be corrected.”
Trump's celebration over the news comes less than two weeks before the election.
Trump also acknowledged that the FBI's decision might counter what he previously made a campaign hallmark phrase — that the system is rigged against him.
“What I just announced, previously, it might not be as rigged as I thought, right?” he said. “I think they're going to right the ship.”
