Kanye West has reportedly been hospitalized in Los Angeles following a week of erratic behavior.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department visited West in response to a disturbance call at around 1:20 p.m., a law enforcement source told The Los Angeles Times. Once the situation was determined to be a “medical emergency,” West is said to have agreed to seek medical treatment.
Details about the reported “disturbance” were not immediately available.
Sources told NBC News West was not involved in any criminal activity and the decision to hospitalize West was out of concern for the celebrity's own health and safety.
West has clearly been going through some issues in his personal life recently.
The rapper walked off-stage just three songs into a concert in Sacramento on Saturday after going on a bizarre rant about Jay Z, Beyonce, Donald Trump and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg:
“I’ve been sent here to give y’all my truth, even at the risk of my own life. At the risk of my own success. I’ll give y’all the truth. Jay Z, call me, you still ain’t called me.… Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man.”

He then canceled a Sunday concert hours before he was supposed to perform and then scrapped the remainder of his 2016 Saint Pablo tour.
