It had barely been 24 hours since she said goodbye to her daughter, Carrie Fisher, when Debbie Reynolds — an actress and icon in her own right — reportedly suffered a medical emergency of her own.

According to TMZ, Reynolds had spent the hours following her daughter's death at the home of her son, Todd Fisher.

She shared her heartfelt thanks with fans via Facebook on Tuesday:

But just one day later, on Wednesday at 1 p.m., TMZ reported that an ambulance was dispatched to Todd Fisher's home. TMZ cites “family sources” as telling them that Reynolds was then rushed to a nearby emergency room after having suffered a “possible stroke.”

Video below shows the ambulance leaving Todd Fisher's home:

Fisher and Reynolds had, at times, had a very publicly contentious relationship. But in recent years, they appear to have mended fences.
