New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and President Donald Trump are two guys with big personalities.

It seems another thing that they share, is a taste for classic lunchtime specialties.

As CBS News reports, the two got together with their wives for a Valentine's Day meal on Tuesday — but one detail Christie has since shared has completely stolen the show.

While co-hosting a New York sports talk radio show on Thursday, Christie recounted his Valentine's Day lunch, saying:

"This is what it's like to be with Trump. He says, ‘There's the menu, you guys order whatever you want.’

And then he says, ‘Chris, you and I are going to have the meatloaf.'"

According to Christie, Trump added, “I’m telling you, the meatloaf is fabulous.”

While it's been suggested that Christie buckled under some kind of “emasculating” power play by the president, the governor's reasoning was much less sensational:

“The guy eats there all the time. And the meatloaf was good.”

Nonetheless, the reactions to the story have been...interesting:

Under most circumstances, the focus of this story would probably be that the president and governor had gathered to discuss the nation's opioid epidemic.

At least Trump didn't make Christie listen to Meat Loaf.
