On Thursday, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee proposed taking out North Korea's leader not through conventional assassination, but by driving him to suicide from spending time with Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.):

“After 1/2 hour with her he will drink whatever he gave to his 1/2 brother,” Huckabee said in an apparent reference to the regime killing its leader Kim Jong Un's half brother. According to CNN, South Korean intelligence claimed that Kim ordered his half brother Kim Jong Nam's killing in February.

Huckabee's proposal came at a time of growing tension between the United States and North Korea. As was previously reported, the communist regime said Wednesday it would have a plan to strike the waters near Guam, a U.S. territory, by mid-August. Prior to that news, Defense Secretary James Mattis warned North Korea it would lose in an armed conflict against the United States and its allies.

Waters's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
