President Donald Trump took to Twitter Friday morning to continue with the heightened — and divisive — rhetoric that has been the cause of much discussion as of recent where North Korea is concerned.

In his morning tweet, the president claimed that military options were “locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely”:

Friday's tweet comes on the heels of a similarly charged tweet from the president in which he claimed that North Korea would experience “fire and fury” should their threats continue.

In a press briefing on Thursday, Trump doubled down on his claims, going a step further as to say that perhaps his charged rhetoric “wasn't strong enough” where the socialist country was concerned.

For their part, North Korea recently claimed that they were planning a missile attack aimed for the waters surrounding Guam for some time in mid-August. This announcement came shortly after the president's “fire and fury” tweet, which the country called “a load of nonsense.”

Jeff(3 likes)I can't wait until the libs complain about the " un-presidential" comments by Trump.  Please defend how Obama's ignorig of this is better. He was given the DIA report in 2013 saying N Korea had nukes but chose to ignore it.  Tell me how his inaction made us safer.  Tell me how Clinton giving them 2 reactors and $5bil in US aid proved to be a good move.  It is easy to criticize but hard if not impossible to defend what Clinton and Obama did.
IntegrityImportant(2 likes)Who cares how the libs see POTUS Trump's comments. It is a breath of fresh air to actually see someone stand up for our principles and for Americans in general. What do biased liberal pundits expect POTUS to do? Wring his hands like Obama? Pray like Bush (prayer doesn't hurt but won't stop Un!)? Get into personal trouble like Clinton and so on? No doubt the North Korean situation is scary but if not stopped or at minimum stymied now, then how will more hand wringing help? Un is not going to be deterred by hand wringing and will raise his hands in glory when the nuke hits the USA. It's complicated of course but something has to be done before Un/NK gets more evil. If the answer exists, this POTUS and his people will find it. Otherwise, it's dum-de-dum-dum time!
