President Donald Trump will deliver a speech at the National Assembly in Seoul, South Korea, Wednesday morning local time. The speech is scheduled to begin at 9:05 p.m. ET.
Trump's speech marks the first time in nearly a quarter-century that a sitting American president will address the National Assembly. The speech will be given before Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun, vice speakers, and the floor leaders of the ruling and opposition parties.
The president's address comes just one day after he claimed that he would be open to “make a deal” diplomatically with North Korea to end the nuclear standoff, according to Reuters.
