Bombshell: Notes From Trump-Russia Collusion Meeting Referenced ‘Donations’ and ‘RNC’

Like bad fast food, the Trump Tower collusion meeting from June 2016 keeps coming back to haunt those involved.

According to NBC News:

Paul Manafort’s notes from a controversial Trump Tower meeting with Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign included the word “donations,” near a reference to the Republican National Committee, two sources briefed on the evidence told NBC News.

The references, which have not been previously disclosed, elevated the significance of the June 2016 meeting for congressional investigators, who are focused on determining whether it included any discussion of donations from Russian sources to either the Trump campaign or the Republican Party.

Yowza. It is illegal to take foreign donations for American elections. Did the meeting’s participants talk about Russian donations to the RNC? Because that would be bad. Maybe worse than taking dirt on the opposition candidate from Russian agents, which Donald Trump Jr. seemed to think was “just politics.”

Also, it’s not the first time reports have surfaced that Russian meddling may have extended beyond just the presidential contest. So there’s that.
