Fox News Unearths Sex Offender Epstein’s 2007 Claim That Shows Just How Close He Was With Clintons

For Hillary Clinton, the scandals of her husband and former president, Bill Clinton, have been something of a thorn in the side of her presidential campaign — including his close personal ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Now, thanks to a lengthy 2007 court document unearthed by Fox News, it seems that the Clintons’ ties with Epstein may run even deeper than had previously been established — ties that had already included the former president’s joint flights onboard the sex offender’s private jet, allegedly also used to transport young girls.

The documents had reportedly been filed by lawyers for Epstein — a former Wall Street and hedge fund billionaire — in July of 2007, amid allegations that Epstein had been closely involved in a sex ring that used underage girls.

One letter in particular — said to be submitted as “part of an ultimately successful bid to negotiate a plea deal” for Epstein — attempted to paint the billionaire in a better light by showing his close ties to the former president:

“Mr. Epstein was part of the original group that conceived the Clinton Global Initiative, which is described as a project ‘bringing together a community of global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.’

Focuses of this initiative include poverty, climate change, global health, and religious and ethnic conflicts.”

Though Epstein was convicted of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution, the letter helped him secure a plea bargain in the end — serving just 13 months in prison plus a year’s home detention for his crime. He is now a registered level 3 sex offender.

While the document seems to forge one more link in the already established relationship between Clinton and Epstein — whose private jet earned the disturbing nickname “Lolita Express” over rumors that it was used to transport young girls to sex parties on his private island, which itself came to be known “Orgy Island” — the situation is not that cut-and-dry.

Officially, Epstein is not listed as a founder of the Clinton Global Initiative, something that is primarily credited to Doug Brand, a longtime Clinton advisor.

These conflicting accounts have made it unclear what role Epstein truly played in the Clintons’ charitable foundation, as it has yet to respond to any requests for clarification.
