Hillary VP Candidate’s Son Just Got Arrested–And Where Police Found Him Has Really Got to Hurt

As the protests against President Trump continue, it was just revealed that Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine’s youngest son was arrested at a rally in the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul.

According to reports, Linwood Michael Kaine, 24, who lives in Minneapolis, showed up to the capitol building Saturday where he joined a group of protesters to disrupt a “March 4 Trump” rally there:

Linwood was one of four to be arrested under the suspicion of second-degree rioting at the Trump rally.

The protest quickly escalated when Trump supporters began raising American flags outside the building as they chanted for tougher immigration restrictions.

Then a protester hung a banner over the rotunda, which read “Yall Racists”:

In the midst of this, a fight broke out between the protesters and Trump supporters, when a stun gun was fired.

One man was even left with a bloody face.

Once police arrived at the scene, Linwood, along with some of his fellow protesters, was taken to Ramsey County Jail, where he remained until Tuesday:

Apparently, officers had to use “some force” when detaining Linwood.

As a further investigation continues, Linwood appeared to be among a group who lit fireworks in the building before fleeing the scene.

Since Linwood was arrested, Sen. Kaine released this statement to the Pioneer Press:

“We love that our three children have their own views and concerns about current political issues. They fully understand the responsibility to express those concerns peacefully.”
