Hillary Comes Out of Hiding a Month After Losing Election — And Her Supporters Still Can’t Stop Crying

Hillary Clinton’s supporters still aren’t over the Democrat’s stunning election defeat to Donald Trump.

As she left a Capitol Hill event on Thursday, Clinton shook the hands of sobbing women who were in hysterics from being in her presence.

Clinton was joined by her former vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine at Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid’s portrait unveiling. Reid will retire from the Senate this year after serving nearly three decades in Congress.

Clinton cracked a few jokes at her own expense during the Reid portrait unveiling, saying: “This is not exactly the speech at the Capitol I hoped to be giving after the election.”

“But after a few weeks of taking selfies in the woods, I thought it would be a good idea to come out,” she joked.
