Kellyanne Conway Claims Trump Campaign Didn’t Need Russia to Find Damaging Intel on Clinton

Despite the ongoing controversy surrounding Donald Trump Jr. and the divisive meeting with Russian operatives in the hopes of gaining damaging information about 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Kellyanne Conway took to “Fox & Friends” on Friday morning to share some thoughts on the matter.

The segment touched on the Russia investigation, with Conway asking “what’s the point” to investigating the president’s finances where Russia was concerned, which, recently, has become a larger part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Conway then turned the conversation back to the matter at hand: “Russian interference in our election.”

“Hillary Clinton affected the electoral outcome,” Conway opined. “Listen, I was the campaign manager for the winning campaign. I didn’t have to look any further than Hillary Clinton when I wanted damaging, negative information on Hillary Clinton. It was all there — she was like a walking, talking treasure trove of negative information.”

“So where is all this going?” Conway asked.

She then pointed out that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) “have been on TV more than they have been presiding over these hearings. […] The investigations have stalled.”
