Nancy Pelosi Confronted on Live TV by Mom Whose Son Was Killed by Immigrant — Her Response Is Telling

A mother whose son was brutally killed by an illegal immigrant confronted Nancy Pelosi during a CNN town hall on immigration Tuesday, asking the House Minority Leader an absolutely gut-wrenching question.

“If you need to go home tonight and line up your babies, as you say, and your grandbabies, which one of them could you look in their eyes today and tell them that they are expendable for another foreign person to have a nicer life?” Laura Wilkerson asked.

The mother continued: “Which one would you like to say, ‘You, my child, are expendable for someone else to come over here and not follow the law and have a nicer life.’”

Pelosi first offered her condolences and prayers to the grieving mother and then claimed illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities are not breaking the law.

“I do want to say to you that in our sanctuary cities, our people are not disobeying the law,” Pelosi said. “These are law-abiding citizens. It enables them to be there without being reported to ICE in case of another crime that they might bear witness to.”

Wilkerson pushed back with another devastating question for Pelosi.

“Will my son’s killer get sanctuary in your city once he’s let out of jail?” she asked.

“Of course not,” Pelosi responded. She later said her son’s killer should be deported.

The Democrat argued the point of sanctuary cities is to prevent law enforcement officers from acting as immigration officers.

Wilkerson’s son, Joshua Wilkerson, was tied up, beaten and strangled to death. His body was then set on fire in a field in Texas. His killer, Hermilo Moralez, was brought to the U.S. illegally by his parents when he was a child.

Despite Pelosi’s claim that illegal immigrants in so-called sanctuary cities do not committ crimes, a tragic killing occurred in her own hometown — the “sanctuary city” of San Francisco — involving an illegal immigrant.

Kate Steinle was walking along a busy San Francisco pier with her father in 2015 when a single gunshot went off. She was hit by the bullet.

Steinle fell to the ground and died in her father’s arms.

The man accused of pulling the trigger is 45-year-old Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, an illegal immigrant and repeat felon who had been deported five times.

All of this happened in a “sanctuary city.”

The statistics surrounding crimes by illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities have been unreliable, but President Donald Trump is looking to change that.

In an executive order on immigration policy, Trump ordered the weekly publication of crimes committed by illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities so Americans can monitor the crime rates.
