On Sunday morning, the White House issued the following statement to amend President Donald Trump’s comments on Saturday about the domestic terrorism at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia:

The President said very strongly in his statement yesterday that he condemns all forms of violence, bigotry and hatred and of course that includes white Supremacists, KKK, neo-Nazi and all extremist groups. He called for national unity and bringing all Americans together.

Trump had come under fire from both Democrats and Republicans alike, as well as the media, for not directly addressing white supremacists as the instigators on Saturday.
