As Americans tune in to the debates and news, I hope they turn out to vote and throw out the Clintons.
Bill and Hillary Clinton launched their careers of corruption when he was Attorney General of Arkansas – the very same office I hold today. Since they entered public life in the 1970s, their careers have been riddled with deception, dishonesty and scandals at every turn, and I am confident that if Hillary wins the White House, this time will be no different.
Although Hillary Clinton made millions since leaving the White House she is still poor in all the ways that really count: poor judgment, poor policies and poor decisions. Every day it seems we learn something new about her use of a private email server and the corrupt interactions between her State Department and the Clinton Foundation.
Absolutely no good could have come from Hillary merging her public service with her private interest, and it is clear that her intent behind the server in her basement was to keep those unethical interactions all a secret.
What we know about her scandals is bad. It is what we do not know that may be worse.
Ask yourself: Why did Bill’s speaking fees skyrocket as soon as Hillary became Secretary of State? Why did donors to the Clinton Foundation receive favorable treatment from the State Department? What national security interests did she put at risk?
As Arkansas’s chief legal officer, Hillary Clinton scares me. Her decades of deceit have taken her down the wrong path and we cannot let her take America down with her.
I broke a glass ceiling in Arkansas when I became the first woman elected Attorney General so I understand the importance of doing so, but a historical milestone need not come at the expense of American prosperity.
There is no reason to think Hillary Clinton would be anything other than a third term of Barack Obama. Big-government regulations and taxes would increase, crippling job growth, and an open borders policy would put the security and well-being of all Americans at risk. And as someone who relies on the judiciary to vindicate the rights of my State and its citizens, I know the courts – from the High Court down through the federal bench – would be lost to left-wing, activist judges who will legislate from the bench after securing life-time appointments.
It is past time for Hillary Clinton to go to her own house, and not the White House. I know that the American people are sagacious and wise and can see right through the Clintons.
America needs Donald Trump as its next president. Mr. Trump is a leader who will lower taxes, grow jobs, reign in out of control federal bureaucrats and return power to the states. Mr. Trump will nominate conservative justices and judges who respect the rule of law, separation of powers and our strong system of federalism.
It is time, America – tune in, turn out and throw out the Clintons.
