Rumor Has it The Donald is About to Get a Huge Endorsement from Former VP Candidate

In case you missed it, GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he would have a “major announcement” and a “special guest” at a campaign rally in Ames, Iowa, on Tuesday.

While initial speculation pointed to Jerry Falwell, Jr., rumor now has it that it’ll be former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Trump teased the announcement on his Facebook page:

Join me on Tuesday, January 19th at the Iowa State University Hansen Agricultural Student Learning Center in Ames, Iowa!…

A private jet reportedly took off Tuesday from Anchorage, Alaska, and was headed to Des Moines, Iowa. From there, it was scheduled to go to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Trump has a rally on Wednesday.

Iowa radio talk show host Steve Deace all but confirmed the endorsement:

During a radio interview in November, Palin talked about the possibility of Trump becoming the GOP nominee:

“I think it’s a very real possibility because people are really tired of professional politicians who, you know, won’t call it like they see it and maybe don’t have life experiences that allow them to prove a track record of success.

“That’s refreshing about Trump. He’s a fighter. We know he’s gonna put America first, and he really nailed it early on what the main problems are in America right now, so it’s a very real possibility.”

Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio have received more endorsements from Republican governors and members of Congress than the rest of the GOP presidential field combined – yet they’re not exactly lighting up the polls.
