A pretty unique moment unfolded at the White House on Tuesday as pastors were asked to pray over President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
The picture is worth 1,000 words.
Pastors Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne wrote of the “surreal” and “humbling” moment on Facebook:
Yesterday was very surreal for @ahowardbrowne & I. 30 years ago we came from South Africa to America as missionaries. Yesterday I was asked by Pastor Paula White-Cain to pray over our 45th President - what a humbling moment standing in the Oval Office - laying hands and praying for our President - Supernatural Wisdom, Guidance and Protection - who could ever even imagine - wow - we are going to see another great spiritual awakening.
Pastor Paula White-Cain, who arranged the gathering, is Trump’s spiritual adviser. Prestonwood Baptist Church Pastor Jack Graham, former GOP Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, former Liberty University Vice President Johnnie Moore, and Vice President Mike Pence were also in attendance.
Moore told CNN they had “similarly prayed” for President Barack Obama but admitted it's “different with President Trump.”
“When we are praying for President Trump, we are praying within the context of a real relationship, of true friendship,” he said.
Moore also claimed Trump was “as strong and focused as I have ever seen him.”
“It was as if he was entirely above the fray,” he said.
