Despite the number of people on social media who scream #NotMyPresident in the general direction of President Donald Trump, or who say that they wish Hillary had been elected, a March poll indicated that the majority would prefer not to see Hillary Clinton run again.

But now Clinton's toughest primary opponent has gotten a similar message from voters, many of whom say that they even voted for him in 2016.

It all started when they learned that Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was seriously considering a 2020 run:

Other names floated in the comments as possible 2020 candidates were former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA).
