White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders, is known for her witty comebacks in response to reporters and, on Friday, she did not disappoint.
Major Garrett, Chief White House Correspondent for CBS News, asked Sarah Sanders about Trump's dealings with Democrats to attach hurricane relief money to a shorter-term bump in the debt ceiling and said, “for Republicans who are displeased about this, what does the White House say, 'get over it?'”
Sanders wasn't having any of it and responded:
“I think the biggest message is that we're a lot less focused on what makes Congress happy and [instead] what makes Americans better and stronger.”
