ABC's “The View” opened Monday's show with a segment on the indictment of former Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, and the claws came out almost immediately.

Sara Haines led off, saying that actually seeing the Russia investigation yield indictments made her feel vindicated.

But then Sunny Hostin flipped through the pages of Manafort's indictment, and Meghan McCain jumped in:

McCain: But this is the ultimate breakdown of democracy, and the humor and levity surrounding it on both sides ... and by the way, I would like to say that — there's a quote that just came out —

Hostin: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Let's not talk about both sides

McCain: Can I please finish?

Hostin: Let's not talk about both sides, let's talk about what's happening today

McCain: I just said Hillary Clinton and the dossier — Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid for —

Hostin: Hillary Clinton is not president, and Hillary Clinton wasn't just indicted! No! No!

McCain went on to say that she had had concerns about Manafort early on but that to summarily dismiss the involvement of Clinton and the Democratic National Committee was a bad call.

Joy Behar and Hostin continued to blow off any mention of the DNC or Clinton — which earned them an eye roll from McCain.
