Tensions between North and South Korea flared up again Tuesday, when North Korea launched a missile at 3 a.m. local time.
Tensions have been raised even more since last week, when President Donald Trump announced he was placing North Korea on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
As soon as the event was known to have taken place, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted:
.@POTUS was briefed, while missile was still in the air, on the situation in North Korea.

Trump has yet to address the situation via his Twitter account, but he reportedly had a succinct message for North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. President Trump said that the United States “will take care of it” and that “it is a situation that we will handle.”
Trump's response is ambiguous but seems to imply a strong response could follow. No doubt he takes Tuesday's provocation as a response to the action he took against North Korea last week.
