On Wednesday afternoon, President Donald Trump appeared in Missouri to give a speech to promote GOP tax reform.

He hit on the booming U.S. economy since he took office, the growth in GDP, and the increase in jobs. But if you were watching the speech on live TV, you probably missed one moment that defines the Trump campaign.

Trump walked in and immediately pointed to a sign that was covered by the standing ovation of the crowd. “I told you that we would be saying Merry Christmas again,” Trump said.
