On Wednesday, “Today” show host Matt Lauer was terminated by NBC. His firing came on the heels of a report of sexual harassment in the workplace.

As Independent Journal Review reported previously:

It was the first complaint lodged against NBC's leading morning news anchor in 20 years at NBC. But the network was "presented with reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident,” according to the memo.

After that accusation, a lot more surfaced about Lauer. He had reportedly given a sex toy as a gift to a female colleague and allegedly dropped his pants, exposing himself to another woman in the office.

In addition, even more unsettling things came out. For example, Lauer reportedly had a button in his office that would lock the door from the inside.

On Friday, NBC came down hard on Lauer, denying him a payout, according to CNN. Lauer didn't publicly respond to the news. But what he did with his social media accounts speaks volumes.

According to Page Six:

Matt Lauer has disappeared from social media.

The disgraced “Today” show anchor appears to have deleted his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as his verified accounts were no longer active on Thursday night.

If that's not enough, Page Six also reported Lauer's wife, Annette Roque, left the United States. Roque, who's been married to Lauer for 20 years, went to the Netherlands, her native country.
