Ben Shapiro summed up the difference between Palestinian control of East Jerusalem and Israeli control of West Jerusalem in one sentence.
“If you are a Jew and you walk into East Jerusalem, your life is in danger. If you're an Arab and you walk into West Jerusalem, there's no problem at all, which signifies exactly why Jerusalem should be under Jewish control and not under Muslim control,” Shapiro said on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday.
East Jerusalem is plagued with violence between Jews and Muslims. In an area where both are in close proximity, stabbings have become a problem in recent years.
“Israel is a sovereign nation. With the right like every other sovereign nation to determine its own capital. Acknowledging this as a fact is a necessary condition for achieving peace. It was 70 years ago that the United States under President Truman recognized the state of Israel,” remarked the president.
