Trump Campaign Press Sec Slams Dems for Continued Attacks Following Mueller’s Report: ‘Move On’

Following the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, congressional Democrats continue to pounce on the president and attorney general, and Trump’s 2020 campaign press secretary Kayleigh McEnany is saying it’s time to “move on.”

Appearing on Fox News after Mueller’s final redacted report was released, POTUS’ campaign press secretary said, “It’s crazy to me that now that the President of the United States, duly elected by the American people, has been cleared — it’s something that not even Democrats can celebrate and move on from.”

McEnany noted she believes it should be a day of “celebration” in regard to the fact that the report concluded no collusion between President Donald Trump‘s campaign and the Russian government in the 2016 presidential election.

“Democrats are not interested in legislating, only investigating,” she added.

In addition to tearing into Democrats on-air, Mcenany also wrote in a Fox News op-ed about the Mueller report and Russia investigation’s end, which was published on Thursday:

“After 2,800 subpoenas, 500 search warrants, and 500 witnesses, Special Counsel Robert Mueller concluded in his redacted report released Thursday: ‘The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.'”

However, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) issued a subpoena to the Department of Justice on Friday arguing the committee is entitled to the full, unredacted version of Mueller’s report. Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) later slammed the “wildly overbroad” subpoena, as IJR Red reported.

While Democrats don’t seem to be letting go anytime soon, many, including a New Hampshire voter, are echoing the calls to “move on.”

Telling MSNBC on Friday, a voter in Manchester, New Hamshire said in regard to Mueller’s report, “There’s nothing in here that shows the president of the United States is guilty of anything.”

He noted that Democrats are going to “try to find something, look in that report, pick it apart, and they’ll try to find something and run with it.” Additionally, he said the 2020 Democratic candidates talking about the report is “just going to destroy them.”

When asked what needs to happen next, the voter said, “I think they just need to move on and just drop it.”

Several other conservatives also told Democrats to “move on”:

While Nadler issued the subpoena on the recent report, his actions differ from when he put his foot down during the 1998 investigation into former President Bill Clinton following the Monica Lewinsky scandal, saying the unredacted Starr report “must be kept secret,” as IJR Red noted.

Similarly, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) ripped Attorney General William Barr for allowing Trump’s lawyers a “sneak preview” of Mueller’s report. However, during the probe into Bill Clinton, she called for him to be allowed to view the report before it was made public, as IJR Red pointed out.

I have to agree with the NH voter, the demoncraps are going to hurt themselves. So my advice to them is to keep doing what you are doing.

I also agree with Representative Jim Jordan, we are tired of the double standard. But it goes beyond that there is one set of rules if you are President Trump or a Trump supporter versus a demoncrap. We The People are tired of the double standard between the average person and those in Congress.
