Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders hasn’t hosted a press briefing in 2019 so far, and a recent tweet from President Donald Trump indicates that she won’t any time soon.

“The reason Sarah Sanders does not go to the ‘podium’ much anymore is that the press covers her so rudely & inaccurately, in particular certain members of the press,” the president tweeted Tuesday. “I told her not to bother, the word gets out anyway! Most will never cover us fairly & hence, the term, Fake News!”

Sanders’ time away from the podium has gone on long enough to break a record. According to ABC News, the Trump administration just surpassed the all-time record for time with no on-camera briefings since they began during the Clinton administration.

Although she’s been off camera, Sanders has still brought on criticism for her social media posts. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the press secretary shared that the reverend “gave his life” in the fight for racial equality. Criticizers pointed out King was assassinated.

Sanders’ last briefing on Dec. 18 was only 15 minutes. The short briefing left many journalists disgruntled, with one even shouting, “Do your job, Sarah!”

Just a few days before, Sanders talked about her legacy at the White House, saying she wanted to to be remembered as doing “the best job I could to answer questions, to be transparent and honest throughout that process and to do everything I could to make America a little better that day than it was the day before.”

Sanders has made some TV appearances to discuss the president’s intentions with the government shutdown and his plans for the border wall. But she was criticized again when she lied about how many terrorists cross the southern border.
