Trump Supporter Admits to Trying to Frame Progressives for His Anti-Trump Graffiti

West Hartford Police Department

In a now-admitted attempt to defame Democrats, Connecticut man and supporter of President Donald Trump, Steven Marks, 32, wrote anti-Trump messages on a school playground hoping that progressives would be blamed, according to The Hartford Courant.

Marks reportedly committed his actions “out of ‘anger towards liberals and they are breaking major laws every day and being disrespectful towards our government.”

Marks’ messages included “Kill Trump,” “Left is the best,” “Bernie Sanders 2020,” and “Death to Trump,” the Courant reports.

Marks turned himself in to police after seeing photos of himself from the playground surveillance cameras on the news.

The court date for Marks has been set for August 2, and he has been ordered to stay off the property belonging to Morley Elementary School.

In his discussion with police, Marks said he would “never harm the president or any member of government and understood [his act] was ‘stupid’ and ‘illegal.”
