NFL fans watching Sunday night's playoff game between the Houston Texans and the Oakland Raiders were “treated” to a promo of this week's episode of “Black-ish”

The episode is described in the promo as “the election through the eyes of Black-ish,” as reported by Heat Street.

Lucy (a white character played by Christine Reitman) tells her predominantly African-American co-workers: “I voted for Trump!” before adding the clichéd justification, “I’m a racist? I have black friends!”

In another scene, her colleague Daphne (Wanda Sykes) appears to kick out at her for merely expressing that she had chosen to cast her vote for the Republican Party.

Meanwhile the show’s protagonists Dre and Rainbow Johnson are seen looking crestfallen at the outcome of the election while in another scene Rainbow shouts “Go Hillary!”

Football fans weren't amused by ABC's decision to air the promo during the game:

Trump himself criticized “Black-ish” in October, 2014:

Speaking of bashing Trump on television, it was open season on the president-elect during NBC's Sunday night broadcast of the Golden Globes.

Host Jimmy Fallon took a few shots at Trump during his opening monologue, but it was honoree Meryl Streep's near-meltdown that brought down the house.
