The Moment Partying Kids Who Shined Penlight at Police Helicopter Realized They Made a Big Mistake.

Shining a penlight at police helicopters isn't a game or innocent fun - it's distracting and dangerous for the pilot.

This surveillance cam video shows the moment when the smirking grins are wiped off of partying kids' faces after police on a helicopter track down those who shined a laser into their cockpit over West Midlands, England.

LiveLeak reported what happened to the man who shined the penlight at the police copter:

The laser attack took place on 31 July 2014 and Chris Vowles from Highfield Road in Sandwell appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on 16 October 2014 and was sentenced to seven months suspended for two years and 250 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £100 victim's surcharge and £300 costs.

Watching these partiers realize that police in a helicopter were not amused by the stunt and were now hovering over their backyard - pretty priceless.
