There was one glaring thing missing from the start of the second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton: A handshake.
Trump and Clinton met in the middle of the debate stage, made eye contact and then decided not to shake hands in an awkward moment that people quickly noticed.
The Clinton campaign has been aggressively going after Trump following the release of 2005 audio that captured Trump making extremely lewd comments about women.
Trump also held a meeting with several women who have accused former President Bill Clinton of sexual assault ahead the debate, which many believe was an attempt to put Hillary Clinton on the defensive.
Predictably, all of the controversy made Sunday's debate even more contentious. Trump apologized for his remarks, while also dismissing it as “locker room talk.” Clinton painted her opponent as unfit for office over his treatment of women.
