Donald Trump's campaign is reportedly gearing up to make Bill Clinton “into Bill Cosby,” per a report from Bloomberg News.
But in the days since the 2nd presidential debate, a series of women have come forward naming their own incidents with Trump. Here is a list from the last 24 hours. It's important to note that Trump denies that any happened, but as you'll note, many involve accusers going public on the record, with others to corroborate their accounts.
Leeds, 74, says Trump came on to her during a flight 36 years ago. In her account to the New York Times, Leeds claims Trump grabbed her breasts and attempted to put his hand up her skirt while they were sitting next to each other in first class. Leeds told friends and family at the time about Trump's unwanted advances, but did not report them to the authorities because it was common in the 1970s and '80s, and that women “were taught it was our fault.”
Crooks was 22, according to her account, when Trump kissed her on the mouth in 2005. Leeds was a secretary for a business that worked with Trump at the time. Her then-boyfriend told the New York Times:
“I think that what was more upsetting than him kissing her was that she felt like she couldn’t do anything to him because of his position,” he said. “She was 22. She was a secretary. It was her first job out of college. I remember her saying, ‘I can’t do anything to this guy, because he’s Donald Trump.’”
Like Leeds, Crooks never reported Trump's advance to the authorities, although she told friends and family at the time, and those people confirmed the report to the Times.
Stoynoff was working as a reporter for People magazine in 2005 when Trump took her to an empty room, and according to Stoynoff, stuck his tongue down her throat. Later, Trump allegedly told Stoynoff that they would have an affair, and it would be the best sex she'd ever had. At the time, Melania was present with Baron Trump, and was present in the same estate when it happened.
According to the Palm Beach Post, McGillivray was 23 when she was allegedly groped by Trump at Mar-a-Lago in 2003. Ken Davidoff, who is a photographer and was with her that day, recalls McGillivray saying that ‘’Donald just grabbed my ass!’’ McGillivray did not report the alleged incident to the authorities.
Again, these are allegations and have not been investigated by the police, and are denied by Trump. But these women are going forward with their names public, and only more reporting will show whether there is truth to their accusations.
