Divorced reality stars Kate and Jon Gosselin‘s neverending public battle recently turned even uglier.
In Touch Weekly has obtained a shocking police report in which Kate Gosselin levels some truly shocking accusations at her former husband and “Jon and Kate Plus 8” costar.
Specifically, she claims that he “kidnapped” their daughter Hannah, drinks heavily around the children, and is covertly employed as a narcotics dealer.
The 2014 police filing has the 41-year-old telling authorities that she was worried about where Hannah was after her 39-year-old ex-husband picked her up from school unannounced and without permission.
She further added, rather cryptically, that his and their daughter's relationship was “far from normal.”
The officer taking the statement wrote:
“Gosselin said that she detects suspicious behavior between Jonathan and their 10-year-old daughter.”
Then came another bombshell:
Gosselin claimed that her ex-husband, who works as a deejay and a waiter, actually secretly sells drugs, and drinks frequently around their children:
"Complainant told PD her ex-husband is a drug dealer, who uses his disc jockey employment as a front to sell narcotics. She also stated he frequently drinks alcohol around the children.”
However, In Touch spoke to an unnamed source close to Jon Gosselin who told the magazine that the allegations were completely false and unfounded:
"Jon didn’t even know all of what Kate had accused him of until he saw the police report himself.
He believes Kate will stop at nothing to get what she wants—even if it means lying to police.
She has no boundaries."
The source said that Jon was most of all upset by the charges that he and daughter Hannah were having an inappropriate relationship—something which police found no evidence of:
“Jon had no idea at the time that she accused him of having an inappropriate relationship with Hannah. He was upset when he found out.”
According to police records, in April 2014 Kate called the police five times in three days, but the responding officer wouldn't get involved, telling her that “this was a custody/civil matter, to be handled in court.”
And go to court they did.
Jon Gosselin asked for an emergency custody hearing during which the judge found no evidence supporting Kate Gosselin's accusations.
The police report filed then concluded that the investigation had been dropped due to lack of evidence.
In Touch's source believes that Kate Gosselin went on the attack because she was furious that Hannah didn't want to take part in her show “Kate Plus 8.”
According to the police report, the investigation was killed after no evidence was found to substantiate Kate Gosselin's charges.
Jon Gosselin has not been charged with any crime, but that fact clearly isn't slowing down Kate's continued accusations.
The embattled former couple divorced in 2009 in the midst of accusations of infidelity coming from both sides, and the couple has since feuded publicly—most notably over the upbringing of their possibly autistic son Collin, 12, who, according to sources, is in treatment at a facility for his “anger issues.”
This year Kate Gosselin wrote a scolding personal letter to Collin, which, after being leaked to the public, left the mom criticized for being “toxic.”
