Austin Steinbach decided it was important for his three-year-old daughter, Kaylieann, to choose what she wanted to wear for her school pictures this year.

Knowing the love his daughter has for playing dress up, Steinbach wasn't surprised when she decided to wear her Superwoman outfit, which paired very nicely with the Superman doll that made a cameo in the school picture as well:

Steinbach explains to PopSugar that he just couldn't argue with her outfit decision:

“She walked up, looked over each of her choices, turned and said 'Pootergirl!' And well, I couldn't argue with that answer.”

It’s not uncommon for Kaylieann to dress like a superhero. Her dad, who first posted the photo on Reddit, explains to Independent Journal Review that Kaylieann would dress up every day of the week if he'd let her.

She calls one of her favorite superheroes, Superman, “Pootergirl“ or “Pooterman,” because the little tyke can't hear the letter “S” due to her degenerative hearing loss.

As Steinbach tells Independent Journal Review, his little girl is 75% deaf in both ears and there is a chance that she could lose her full range of hearing in the coming years:

"Both her mom and I are hearing. We just got the news from her audiologist 5 months ago and are learning ASL now, and love it.

She had this hearing loss for over a year before we were able to diagnose it and she was still able to keep up with all the other children in her preschool class with all the didactic work they had them doing, she was held back 2 months due to her falling behind in speech/auditory areas but this was before myself or her teachers were aware of her hearing loss."

Steinbach says he doesn't believe Kaylieann's hearing loss has affected her much at all because, well, she's a Pooterhero, that's why.

In fact, Steinback admits that her hearing loss actually made her a fantastic sleeper as an infant.

He explains to Independent Journal Review:

“One of my favorite stories about her is when she was an infant I would always brag to my friends, and mom, about how Miss Kaylieann would sleep for 17 hours straight every night and never woke up when the doorbell would ring or I would walk through her room. Looking back now though...that all makes sense!”

She's just your average Pooterhero, with a her own unique superpower:

Kaylieann also loves Disney princesses:

And as her dad tells Independent Journal Review, she's normally dressed as either Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, or Anna and Elsa from “Frozen,” during a normal day at school.

Steinbach sometimes has to hide her costumes just so she wears something different, or at the very least, so he can wash them once in a while.

The very proud father tells Independent Journal Review that neither her teachers, her classmates, nor her family were very surprised to see Kaylieann's school picture:

“Everyone is always excited to see what she picks out to wear every day. I honestly don't know if her classmates want to wear superhero gear more or less because of her, but it's always fun and heartwarming when I drop her off or pick her up because her classmates are always talking about her being supergirl, or whomever she's wearing that day.”

Kaylieann is just living her most authentic and cutest life. No one can argue with that.
