The conservative and liberal worlds lit up in a firestorm when Vice President-elect Mike Pence attended a performance of “Hamilton”' on Broadway this past week.

The Vice President-elect was roundly booed and jeered by the audience, and he received a smug lecture from the cast before leaving the building. It went like this:

Those in the liberal Twittersphere hailed the lecturing.

Some in the conservative world saw great hypocrisy in the casts' actions.

Trump chimed in, calling the behavior “harassment.” Pence himself brushed off the exchange, saying:

“This is what freedom looks like.”

No matter where you fall on the topic of the “Hamilton” cast being right or wrong for their actions, it's clear that Democrats received a very different reception from the Broadway cast when they visited during the election.

In October, in the heat of a brutal Presidential campaign, the cast of “Hamilton” hosted a fundraiser of Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton. According to The New York Daily News:

“Hamilton” is with her. Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the smash hit “Hamilton,” is performing at a “Stronger Together” fund-raiser for Hillary Clinton ... guests can pay between $45 and $10,000 to hang with Julia Roberts, Hugh Jackman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Josh Groban, Angela Bassett, Neil Patrick Harris and more. Organizers promise “never before seen duets and collaborations to support Hillary.”

Here is how the “Hamilton” cast and Hollywood squad reacted when Hillary Clinton attended their show.

(HINT: They said “I love you.”)

While the “Hamilton” cast 'heroically' stood up to Pence, they had no problem slobbering all over Hillary with hugs, kisses and gushing selfies.

Sydney Harcourt, who's the Aaron Burr understudy in the production, had a grand ole time with the Clintons backstage.

He bravely took this selfie with Hillary.

And called her “amazing.”

He and other cast members hugged and kissed her.

 So excited!

Chelsea Clinton got love, too.

But the “Hamilton” cast fan-girling over Democrat politicians does not stop there.

Am I awake?

And who can forget the “small” minority of Hollywood stars that stumped for Hillary...

You are not really “liberal fan-girling” without a picture with these two.

Oh yeah, and this...

The “Hamilton” cast has every right to the First Amendment. So do we. And we choose to call them out on their blatant partisan bias.
