It goes without question that Michael Jackson had a unique look. So if someone were going to play him in either a film or TV series, it would make sense to get someone who looks like him:

Well, photos were just released from a fiction/biopic about the star, which will air on Sky Arts, starring Joseph Fiennes as the King of Pop—and people are appalled.

As soon as this photo was released, people all over the internet went haywire, expressing strong opposition to the TV show.

The main reason? The photo is just downright creepy.

Many noted that Fiennes was a horrible person to cast, since he looks nothing like Jackson, and they were astounded that the director cast a white person:

For those still interested, the TV special will revolve around Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando driving from New York to Ohio in an attempt to get home to California in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

As for the other actors, Stockard Channing will play Elizabeth Taylor and Brian Cox will star as Marlon Brando.
