Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci appears to be trying to make the most of his increased fame from his less-than-two-week run in the West Wing.

After back-to-back days in which he teased the launch of something called “The Scaramucci Post” and announced a guest spot hosting “TMZ Live” this coming Monday, he has another guest host gig lined up.

This spot, though, is one that you might not expect: “The View.”

The New York Post's Page Six broke the story Thursday morning, with the official announcement coming a few hours later during the day's live broadcast. The Mooch will be kicking off its “Guy Day Friday” series of shows for the new season next Friday, Sept. 22.

The Page Six article noted that longtime “View” co-host Joy Behar had “previously revealed” she spoke to Scaramucci the day he was fired from the White House, then quoting what appears to be quotes from a previously unpublished interview.

“I was trying to get him on the show,” she said. “We’re Paesans together, so I called him, and we had a very interesting conversation. Unfortunately, he learned from the New Yorker interview how to say the words 'off the record,' so I can’t tell you too much. ... We had a great conversation, very juicy information — but I can’t say it.”
