The boiling feud between President Donald Trump and Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) continued to heat up on Sunday when the Tennessee senator claimed the president's rhetoric could lead to “World War III.”
Speaking to The New York Times, Corker said Trump is treating the presidency like “a reality show,” adding that his reckless handling of conflicts with other nations could put the United States “on the path to World War III.”
“He concerns me,” Corker said. “He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation.”
The senator's comments follow a weekend Twitter war between the two Republicans after the president tweeted Sunday that Corker “didn't have the guts to run” for re-election.
The president's initial Twitter storm appears to be in response to the senator's claim that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and others, help to “separate our country from chaos.”
Trump also shamed Corker on Sunday for allegedly asking for his endorsement heading into the 2018 election as well as showing interest in serving as secretary of state. “He also wanted to be Secretary of State, I said 'NO THANKS,'” the president wrote.
Corker fired back, blasting Trump for turning the White House into an “adult day care center.”
“Someone obviously missed their shift this morning,” he added.
It's a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning.

“Bob Corker gave us the Iran Deal, & that's about it,” Trump added. “We need HealthCare, we need Tax Cuts/Reform, we need people that can get the job done!”
