Former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn has promised “full cooperation” to the ongoing special counsel investigation into Russia's meddling into 2016 election and is prepared to testify that President Donald Trump ordered him to reach out to Russians during the campaign, according to a new report.
According to ABC News, Flynn, who pled guilty Friday to charges he lied to the FBI about communications with a Russian ambassador, is “prepared to testify against President Trump, against members of the Trump family, and others in the White House.”
Specifically, Flynn is ready to testify that then-candidate Trump “directed him to make contact with the Russians, which contradicts all the Donald Trump has said at this point,” ABC News's Brian Ross reported.
