White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders is set to hold a press briefing on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. ET.
This will be the first press briefing since President Donald Trump fully endorsed Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, who stands accused of multiple acts of sexual misconduct, including inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl while in his 30s.
Sanders will field questions from reporters who are likely to ask about the ongoing investigation into Russia's meddling in the 2016 election and the president's recent claim that he knew then-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn lied to the FBI and to Vice President Mike Pence before he fired Flynn. The president's lawyer later took credit for the tweet, which to many raised more questions regarding actions that may suggest obstruction of justice.
