Controversial Women's March Leader Linda Sarsour Got Arrested at Paul Ryan's Office

Activist Linda Sarsour was arrested Monday following a protest outside the office of House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).

According to Al Jazeera, Sarsour and other Muslim-American activists stood outside of Ryan's office demanding that he hear their concerns regarding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

The protesters were allegedly arrested for civil disobedience.

Sarsour is no stranger to controversy. She has been an outspoken activist for American Muslims and was also a co-chair for the 2016 Women's March.
