Disney CEO Bob Iger had to assure shareholders that “The View” co-host Joy Behar was sorry for her controversial remarks about Vice President Mike Pence's Christian faith.

In mid-February, Behar joked that believing Jesus “talks to you” is actually a form of “mental illness,” a comment for which the liberal co-host was immediately rebuked.

Iger said during a recent shareholder meeting that Behar “apologized for things she has said about Christians and the Trump administration,” according to Los Angeles Times reporter Daniel Miller.

Behar has also reportedly apologized to Pence:

Pence said in February that “The View” co-host's remarks show “just how out of touch some in the mainstream media are with the faith and values of the American people.”

“We're better than that. Our country's better than that. I'd like to be light about it, but I really can't,” the vice president said at the time.

Shortly after Behar's spat with Pence, entertainment mogul Oprah Winfrey said she hasn't “heard” God calling her to run for president in 2020. Behar, it should be noted, didn't weigh in on Winfrey's comment.
